National Conference on Value-Added Modeling

Doug Harris and Adam Gamoran of UW-Madison, together with Steve Raudenbush from the University of Chicago, chaired a National Conference on Value-Added Modeling, April 23-24, 2008 in Madison, WI. The 150 participants included UW-Madison ITP fellows along with fellows from U. Chicago’s Interdisciplinary Training Program. Twenty-five invited out-of-state speakers and discussants participated in six paper sessions. The conference was sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation, the Joyce and Spencer Foundations, the Chicago and Wisconsin IES predoctoral training programs, and the Wisconsin Center for Education Research.
