ANNUAL STUDENT EVALUATION

Only the most highly qualified students in the participating disciplines will be offered for selection as UW-ITP Fellows. After being selected for participation, Fellows are expected to meet the obligations of the training program and make satisfactory progress towards completion of their degree. An annual evaluation of each Fellow will be made by the Steering Committee. Evaluation criteria will include (a) performance in courses; (b) cross-disciplinary enrollment in courses; (c) timely completion of requirements (e.g., comprehensive examinations, qualifying papers, master’s theses); (d) successful completion of internship; (e) completion of advanced courses in methods and statistics; (f) participation in interdisciplinary research; (g) presentation of research at conferences and submission to journals; (h) completion of dissertation proposals; and (i) completion of doctoral dissertations.
